Partnerships
Melissa Monteros and Wojciech Mochniej as W&M Physical Theatre have created partnerships with a number of international organizations. They have increased the presense of Calgary abroad by presenting Dance Explosions, Poland from 1995-2002. They partner with the University of Zielona Gora and the University of Calgary to present the International Festival of Improvisation in Zielona Gora. They have been guest artists in Finland for Jojo Oulu Dance Center and guest performers for Nomadi Productions (Helsinki). In Poznan, Poland, they are developing a strong relationship with Polski Teatr Tanca in hopes of providing exchanges of dancers, teachers and students between our countries. In Austria, they have formed a relationship with the Dance Program at the Bruckner Conservatory and The Choreographic Center in Linz, home of the dance company xIDA.
